What have I become?
Am I just an empty shell without a living soul?
No feeling left for anything or anyone?
Or is there more to me?
Is there something left inside that I just cannot find?
Some hidden ray of hope for me? How can I tell?

I can’t go on as I am. There’s no way ahead.
I’ve got to rebuild my whole life - there’s no other way to survive.

What have I become?
Am I doomed to wander on without a place to go?
An endless game of make-believe in stormy seas?
Or is there life ahead?
Will I find a place where I can be a part of life?
A place where I can feel alive and well again?

I need to know what’s ahead, what life has in store.
And then I will know what to do, what path I should follow from here.
